How to Brew Ripe Pu-erh Tea (熟普洱)

Water Temperature: 95–100°C
Tea Amount: 5–7g
Teaware: Gaiwan, Yixing clay teapot, or porcelain teapot
Recommended Vessel Size: 150ml


Tea Rinse

Rinse the tea once with hot water for 5–8 seconds and discard the liquid.

This helps awaken the tea leaves and improve flavor clarity.


Steeping Times

1st infusion: 10–15 seconds
2nd infusion: 15–20 seconds
3rd infusion: 20–25 seconds
4th infusion: 30–35 seconds
Later infusions: Add 10–15 seconds each round
